I'm a color and design consultant, and the person behind Color Coded. My path here was not a straight line. I spent 17 years in education, a year working as a virtual assistant, and several years in a tile and stone showroom helping clients work through bathroom and kitchen design. I've taken interior design classes through the UC Berkeley Extension in San Francisco, and I've personally renovated several homes I've lived in along the way. For years, I've been the person my friends call when they need paint or design advice. Color Coded is where all of that comes together: matching your personality to a palette so your home feels like you, not whatever's trending this year.
I also run Emma Forrest Virtual Solutions, working with realtors and interior designers on the client experience and administrative side of their business.
Color Coded is where I get to focus on the part I love most: big-picture ideas and helping people feel confident in their own taste again.
What I love most is helping people make their home uniquely theirs. I'm drawn to the way psychology and color intersect: the space you live in has a real effect on how you feel and think, day to day.
